Percussion Double, František Novák, Prague, around mid 1800s
Damascene barrels, smooth-bore, cylindrical shape, on the surface is the inscription ‘F. Nowak in Prag’ and No. 1, percussion locks with rear spring, butt with face-piece, fish-pattern on neck and a short fore-butt, a label with the owner’s initials JC (?), under a baron’s crown with 7 pearls, set into fore-butt, the inscription Dener (?) carved at the bottom of the barrel-end of butt, iron set, wooden ram-rod with brass head, calibre 17/17 mm, length 117 cm, length of barrels 76.5 cm
František Novák (1784 – 1857), top Czech gunsmith in the 19th century, master in Prague from 1821, won medals at Prague industrial exhibitions in 1829, 1831, and 1836, first Chair of the Prague Gunsmiths’ Guild 1835 – 1838 and 1844 – 1848, Imperial Court Gunsmith

Colt Revolver with a 3.1/5-inch cylindrical barrel – custom modification of the Colt police and pocket revolver, model 1862, for identical ammunition
Cylindrical barrel, grooved, without ejector and without a loading valve (original model), five-chamber cylinder, brass guard and handle frame, walnut handle insets, manufacturing mark on barrel, on the frame are patent dates from 1871 and 1872, manufacture number 4468, calibre 38 (original 1862 model 36), length 22 cm, length of barrel 3.5 inches, minor damage to metal parts (engraving on the cylinder is entirely unclear) and the functionality of the mechanism.
Revolver Colt with 3.1/5-inch barrel was made by Colt between 1873 – 1880; around 10,000 pieces were made (6,500 transformed from model 1862, 3,500 newly made)

Wood, with veneer, a pillar architecture of two alabaster pillars on a rectangular profiled base, with decorative mesh on the sides, carrying a ledge with a cylindrical case with the clock mechanism, a mirror niche, on the sides are carved gilded gryphons, and an eagle on the top, case decorated with brass applications, spring-driven, pendulum mechanism, strikes on the quarter hour, mechanical dial with two cupids, one is forging arrows and the other sharpening them, enamel internal circle with the signature ‘Leopold Kotrbeletz in Tabor, Bohemia’, 1st quarter of the 19th century, mechanism functional, precision not guaranteed, original key, slightly damaged veneer and face, height 66 cm
