A quality replica of a picture clock, where the model was an identical view of Vienna by painter C. L. Hofmeister (active 1780 – 1840) from the early 19th century. It is the most famous Vienna motif used on picture clocks, variants of these clocks are found in a number of Austrian museums (e.g., the Vienna Clock Museum, MAK Vienna, Geymüller’s Chateau)

A luxurious example of a typically Bohemian Baroque Longcase clock. The clock has a strictly prismatic case with chestnut veneer and characteristic band inlays. This quality clock mechanism was imported from London.
