The nativity scene comes from the nativity scene centre in the Příbram region, where miners, in particular, made nativity scenes all throughout the 19th century. The typical terraced background featuring a showy town with splendid palaces and many turrets, the main multi-figural scene is located at the bottom. In the centre is the cr?che with the holy family and gift-bearers, and other gift-bearers accompanied by sheep walk down the sides. Most figures in the scene are similar in style to that of the most famous Příbram carver, Antonín Mácha. The figures from the holy family are inspired by the group in the nativity scene made for Svatá Hora in 1884.
